Replies Handled, a service of Penny's Got It
Shep fetches every review. You keep working.
When a customer leaves you a Google review, Shep rounds it up, writes a reply in your voice, and posts it. The good ones go out fast. The rough ones he carries straight to you and waits for your word.
$149 a month per location. No setup fee. No contract talk. Just every review answered.
Start with the free audit See Shep's work first
The free step is simple: we draft replies to your 5 most recent reviews, free, in your voice. Yours to keep either way. There is no free trial. The free audit is how you judge the work before any money changes hands.
Shep the Review Responder. He rounds up every review. The rough ones, he brings to you.
of consumers expect business owners to respond to reviews. A review left in silence is not neutral. It is an answer, and customers hear it.

Look at the work, not a promise
Here is what Shep brings back
These are examples. Every pair below is a sample written for illustration, using generic business types. They are not real customers, not testimonials, and not reviews of Replies Handled. This is the shape of the work you would get: a reply written from the reviewer's own words, in the owner's voice, never a stock template.
★★★★★
Sample: a neighborhood bakery
"Stopped in Saturday morning and the line moved fast. The morning buns were still warm and the woman at the counter remembered my kid's name from last week. This is our new Saturday spot."
"Thank you for making us part of your Saturday. Warm morning buns and remembering names is exactly what we hope this place feels like. We will save you a spot in that fast moving line next week."
★★★★★
Sample: a local heating and cooling company
"Furnace quit on the coldest night so far. They answered, came out the next morning, and showed me the part that failed before they replaced anything. Fair price, warm house."
"Thank you for trusting us on a cold night. Showing you the failed part first is how we work, every call. Glad the house is warm again, and we are here if it acts up."
★★★★☆
Sample: a barber shop
"Great cut, exactly what I asked for, and good conversation. Only reason for 4 stars is I waited about 15 minutes past my appointment time. Would still go back."
"Thanks for the kind words about the cut, and for saying plainly about the wait. You are right, your time matters, and we are tightening up our booking so chairs turn on time. Hope to earn that fifth star next visit."
★★☆☆☆
Sample: an auto repair shop
"Quoted one price on the phone and charged more at pickup. Car runs fine but nobody explained the difference. Felt surprised and not in a good way."
"Thank you for telling us this directly. You should never be surprised at pickup, and we are sorry no one walked you through the difference before you paid. If you will call us, we will go through the invoice line by line with you."

of consumers say a templated or generic response makes them unlikely to choose a business. So Shep never pastes one. Every reply is written fresh, from the reviewer's own words, in your voice.

Your reviews are where your next customer decides.
Answering every review, in your own voice, is how a business wins them, because the next customer reads the reviews and the replies before they ever pick up the phone.

Meet Shep
A working dog for your reputation
Shep is a border collie, and he works the way a good farm dog works. Ears up. Nothing in the field gets past him. A review lands at midnight, he has it rounded up by morning.
He is proud of the flock, too. A five star review gets answered like it matters, because to the next customer reading it, it does. A short review with no words still gets a kind, specific reply. And a rough review never gets a bark back. Shep picks it up gently and brings it to the owner. That is not a cute story laid over a service. That is the service, step for step.
One thing to know: Shep fronts Replies Handled only. Your customers never see him. Every reply posts under your business name, in your voice.
Shep rounds up every review. The rough ones, he brings to you.
Our signature promise
The rough ones get carried, never chased
Anyone can thank a happy customer. The reply that can help or hurt you most is the one under 4 stars, written by someone who is upset, on a page your next ten customers will read. So Shep handles those differently, on purpose.
1. Drafted with care
The reply is written fresh from what the reviewer actually said. It thanks them for speaking up, names the specific problem without arguing with it, and offers a real next step, like a call with the owner. No defending, no blaming, no stock apology that could fit any shop on any street.
2. Checked by a person
A human on our team reads every draft for a review under 4 stars before you ever see it. Tone gets checked twice here, because a tired or heated draft helps nobody.
3. Held for your word
Under-4-star reviews never auto-post and their replies are never auto-posted either. The draft comes to you with the review beside it and it waits. You can approve it, change it, or let it sit. If you never approve it, it never posts. It does not age into posting.
How we cool a hot review down
We slow the reply down instead of speeding it up. We agree with the part that is fair. We keep it short. We move the fix off the public page and into a real conversation, where it belongs. Future customers reading that exchange see an owner who listens and makes things right. That is worth more than winning an argument in public.
What we will never do
We will never argue with a reviewer in public, never post a held draft without you, and never write, buy, or trade for a review to bury a bad one. We reply to reviews. That is the whole job, done honestly and inside Google's rules.
of consumers would soften or reverse a negative review if the business acknowledged the problem and fixed it. That is why Shep carries the rough ones to you instead of chasing them off.
Customer retention is why you should employ Shep.

From fence post to front porch
How a review travels with Shep
A review lands
Day or night, weekday or weekend, Shep rounds it up. Five stars, one star, or just stars with no words at all.
Your voice does the talking
Before anything posts on its own, you answer a few short questions about how you talk and what you never want said. Then your first five replies come to you for approval, so you can hear yourself in them. Automatic posting starts only after that.
Good ones go out, rough ones come home
Reviews of 4 and 5 stars post in your voice, usually within the day. Anything under 4 stars is drafted, checked by a person, and held for you, as promised above.
You stay on the tools
No dashboard to run. No login to babysit. You gave us manager access to your Google Business Profile, with no password changing hands, and you can take that access back in a minute, any time. It is your profile. It stays your profile.
Getting Shep on the job
Step 1. Start with the free audit below. We draft replies to your 5 most recent reviews so you can judge the voice.
Step 2. If the drafts sound like you on your best day, you grant manager access and answer the short voice questions. That takes about one sitting.
Step 3. You approve your first five replies. From there, Shep goes to work and you get back to yours.
This service is built for one location, owner operated businesses whose customers find them on Google: trades, salons and studios, pet services, auto shops, bakeries, caterers, and shops like them. We are not opening health related businesses yet, because those reviews deserve extra care we are still building.
of consumers are likely to use a business that responds to all of its reviews. Not just the five stars. Not just the complaints. Every single one, rounded up and answered.

Once a month, at your kitchen table
Shep brings you the whole field
What folks keep praising
The names, details, and jobs your customers mention again and again, gathered from your own reviews so you can do more of what is already working.
What keeps costing you calls
Waits, surprises on price, hard to reach phones. If a pattern shows up in your reviews, it shows up here, plainly, while it is still small enough to fix.
Our time, printed on the page
Your monthly one page report prints how fast we answered, so you can hold us to it. It closes the way Shep closes every job: all rounded up, and the rough ones waiting on your word.
We also set up a simple review request link you can send after a job. It goes to every customer the same way, with nothing offered in exchange for a review. No picking only the happy ones. That is the honest way, and the way that keeps you inside Google's rules.
of consumers expect a response within a week, and 19% now expect one the same day. Shep answers usually within the day a review lands, and your monthly report prints the times to prove it.

Asked from the porch
Questions owners ask before Shep starts
Do you write reviews for my business?
Never. We reply to reviews. We do not write them, buy them, trade for them, or offer customers anything for them. Protecting your profile is part of the job.
Do I have to give you my Google password?
No. You grant manager access to your Google Business Profile, the same access you would give a marketing helper. No password changes hands, and you can revoke the access any time.
What if a reply does not sound like me?
Tell us and we fix your voice profile before anything else posts. If a posted reply ever does not sound like you, say the word and automatic posting stops for your business while we get it right. Your name is on every reply. We treat it that way.
How fast do replies go up?
Usually within the day the review lands. Your monthly report prints our response time, so you never have to take our word for it.
Can I really cancel in one message?
Yes. One message, any time, and it ends at the close of that month. No contract is not a slogan here. It is the billing setup.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is no free trial. The free step is the free audit: five real draft replies to your 5 most recent reviews, yours to keep either way. Judge the work before any money exists.
